Hole 1 - Par 4 - 365m

The opening hole is a challenging par 4. Both sides of the fairway are lined with trees which are ready to catch any wayward tee shots. From the men's white tees a good drive will require a mid to low iron second which needs to be accurately struck to reach the green in regulation. A steep bank to the left of the green will punish a wide approach. From the ladies' tee place your drive down the right side of the fairway to get a better position for your second to the green. Those with a large drive will easily reach the hill and roll down to a flat lie.
