We look forward to seeing you at Queenstown Golf Club.

If you have booked online through the NZ Golf app please let us know if you need hire clubs if you haven't already phoned or emailed so we can have these ready for you. Our phone number is 03 4429169 or email proshop@queenstowngolf.co.nz

We hope the information we share below is helpful to all visitors to our course.

If you are travelling by car from downtown Queenstown please note that the traffic heading from town to the airport from around 9am until 11am can add up to 30 minutes to the journey as many guests check out their hotels around 10am and many international flights depart around 2pm daily.

We are pleased to offer some tips in advance of your visit for our first-time visitors and ask that group organisers share these with your players :

- Our pro shop no longer sells plastic bottled water or soft drinks. We do have glass bottled options in the Cafe. You can also bring your own refillable bottle and use our filtered water station (still or fizzy). We sell a souvenir insulated flask ($15) if you wish to purchase and refill it.

We take pride in our efforts to reduce waste, as Queenstown aims to become a carbon-neutral tourist destination by 2030.

- Our Cafe and Bar are open daily from 8am offering a selection of coffee, menu items and freshly made Cabinet Food.

- being a resort destination, we know some players might enjoy an alcoholic beverage during their round. Our Club Liquor Licence does not allow sales for on-course consumption. If you do choose to bring some 'social' drinks (preferably in cans) with you, please do so in responsible quantities, especially if you plan to use one of our golf carts. We are not the fun police but take all patrons' health, safety, and enjoyment seriously.

on the subject of Health and Safety, please respect other players on the course, and if your shot is heading way left, way right or just out of sight, please call FORE immediately. If you hear a nearby warning, please protect yourself from injury by covering your head.

- our course has a public walking and cycling track around its perimeter. You may encounter track users, especially on the 5th hole. Please note that golfers must give way and not place track users in danger. It may occasionally delay your round a minute or two, but it's the safe option for everyone.

- as a tourist resort many players are experiencing the course for the first time. A few selfies here and there are all part of the memory machine. Please be conscious of groups both ahead and behind you.

- bathrooms are located upstairs in the cafe or downstairs adjacent to the 8th and 18th greens. There is a public bathroom on the left side of hole 3, approx 180m from the green on the left side.

our warm-up range is strictly for irons use only. There are nets for those who wish to exercise their big muscles but we suggest you spend more time on the practice green..they are fast! The Chipping green is for chipping only and the speed is not a representation of the actual greens....the undulation is!

- Putts break towards the view, and we have 360-degree views, so you'll have to figure that out on your own.

If you are visiting Queenstown, we suggest you take a look at the offers on www.bookme.co.nz, which include tours and restaurant deals. First Table is also a good source for local restaurant discounts of up to 50% for food.

If you would like a free GPS-based live course map preloaded on your smartphone, we suggest the Motocaddy App for Apple or Android. It is free, and you may log in as a "Guest player" without any registration fuss.
