Why join Queenstown Golf Club?

Read below from some of our current members on why they enjoy being members of Queenstown Golf Club.

"Joining Queenstown Golf Club is the best decision I've made since moving to Queenstown. The course is amazing, always in great condition and set in the most beautiful alpine surroundings. It's a refreshingly sociable club too, the team will always go out of their way to make you feel welcome and get you a game and there's always good craic in the bar. The membership rates are exceptionally reasonable for Queenstown, leaving you with more money to spend in the bar after golf!" Stephen McAteer

"I have been a member of Queenstown Golf Club for 6 years. As a Kiwi who's based in Sydney 9 months of the year I don't get to play my favourite course in the world as much as I'd like, but when I do it brings out the best in my golf. You simply can't have a bad round there, just look around to see the spectacular views from every hole, and your mind will be so engaged your golf just flows! Having played at many courses around the world I rate Queenstown Golf Club in my top 5. You can't beat it, and the course is always in fantastic condition, winter or summer. Not to mention how friendly everyone when I'm there." Suzanne Vidak

"My first game at Queenstown Golf Club was in December 2001. It set the scene for me, as two members asked me to join them on hole 13. I have always felt welcomed and included. I urge new members to get involved, as I found that the more I gave, the more I benefitted. Becoming involved with the club, has been a wonderful way of finding a place in this community, learning more about golf and meeting many fantastic friends. The course is both challenging and achievable depending on the weather, but always a great place to play. I whole-heartedly recommend the course, it's members and staff all combining to make it the best in the area." Heather Atkinson

"The Queenstown Golf Club has a challenging course with some of the best views you will ever see on a golf course. The subs are excellent value and the members are a great mix of locals as well as imports from all around New Zealand and the world. The clubhouse is welcoming and the staff are helpful and friendly. What's not to like?? I just love going over to the club and do so as often as I possibly can." Grant Hardy
